Nigerian Hip-Hop sensation, Olamide Adedeji is professionally known as Olamide and he was raised by both his parents, Mr and Mrs Adedeji. His father passed away in 2015, and his mother passed away in 2018.
Olamide, born 15th March, 1989 in Bariga, Lagos State, is the second born child of Pa Adedeji and his second wife, Ronke Osisanya Adedeji. The musician has two siblings, Temmy Gold and Eniola Olamilekan. The rapper’s height is 5 feet and 7 inches and weighs approximately 88 kgs.
He started his career when he released the debut single, “Eni Duro,” in 2010. In the same year, he performed at The Hip Hop World Awards. He is known for jams such as ‘UY Scuti’, ‘999’, ‘The Glory’, ‘2 Kings’, ‘Street OT’, and more.

Olamide kicked off his career in high school as a rapper. He was also a member of his high school’s musical band.He was signed to ID Cabasa’s Coded Tunes record label and was managed by Toni Payne.
In 2012, Olamide left Coded Tunes and started his own record label YBNL Nation. His career debut in the music industry was in 2010 when he released his first single, Eni Duro. The song was highly praised by critics and made him instantly famous.
Following the success of ‘Eni Duro’, he got to perform at the Hip-Hop World Awards ceremony. In 2011, he also released his first studio album, Rapsodi. The songs from this album were widely played on the best radio stations in Nigeria.
